HENNA COURSES

I have been running face to face henna courses in the UK for the last ten years. I have accumulated knowledge, expertise and skills over the years to bring tailored professional courses to new learners. The courses I bring to you are structured and researched to help you become successful henna artists. You will learn the principles of henna to help you become independent in henna application.

I am delivering henna courses in multiple cities in the UK (these locations are outlined below). The courses are designed to support henna application progression and basic knowledge, they are tailored for beginners and those who would like to go into the bridal industry.  If you have a strong willingness to learn but are unable to attend my face to face courses I also deliver online courses

FOUNDATION HENNA COURSE

DURATION 2 DAYS (10AM-5PM)

Targets a complete novice or individuals with basic experience in henna application

Day 1: Day one prepares and introduces students to the art of henna. Henna practice exercise to get the hand accustomed to using and controlling the henna cone. You will learn to prepare and make the henna cone to give you ease and comfort when applying henna. Start from basic motifs (small curls) and move onto more complex motifs which will eventually form the patterns on day two of learning. You will be using custom made templates which are a reference to help guide you when drawing the shapes and motifs involved in henna patterns. The motif drawings constitute towards creating the desired henna patterns.
 
Day 2: On this day you will be composing different patterns and designs, these will vary from traditional to modern patterns. The motifs learnt on day one are the segments which generate the patterns on day two. You will be learning to map out the hand to construct the henna design. I will be teaching you the technique to connect the motifs to form an overall pattern independently. The goal is to create a confident henna artist who is able to form patterns unaided. On day two students usually have increased confidence in controlling the henna cone and forming lines and patterns.

BRIDAL HENNA COURSE

DURATION 3 DAYS (10AM-5PM)

Aimed at those who want to get into the booming bridal henna niche

Day 1: Day one prepares and introduces students to the art of henna. Henna practice exercise to get the hand accustomed to using and controlling the henna cone. You will learn to prepare and make the henna cone to give you ease and comfort when applying henna. Start from basic motifs (small curls) and move onto more complex motifs which will eventually form the patterns on day two of learning. You will be using custom made templates which are a reference to help guide you when drawing the shapes and motifs involved in henna patterns. The motif drawings constitute towards creating the desired henna patterns.

Day 3:  All the techniques taught from day one and two are brought together to form intricate and detailed henna patterns.
